Long Branch Starts Outside Seating at Restaurants: Long Branch restaurants have moved into phase 2 of the state’s re-opening plan.  The following restaurants are now open to the public and offering outside seating for their guests: 100 Ocean at Wave Resort, 656 Ocean / Stingers Bar & Grill, Amy’s Omelette House, Art of Salad 3, Avenue & Le Club, Beach Bee Meadery, Brighton Bar, Butcher’s Block, Casa Comida Caputo’s Pastry Shoppe, Charley’s Ocean Grill, Corner Café & Bistro, Diet Gourmet, Jack’s Goal Line Stand, Johnny’s Piancone’s, Long Branch Distillery, Mar Belo, Max’s Bar and Grill, McLoone’s Pier House, Mix Lounge & Food Bar, Ocean Place Resort & Spa Terrace Grill and Tiki Bar, Offshore Coffee Roasters, Nip N Tuck, Playa Bowls, Port Chop BBQ Rockafeller’s Station, Ron’s West End Pub, Rooney’s Oceanfront, Scala’s Pizzeria, Side’s Grill Diner, Simply Greek, Stewart’s Rootbeer, Trama’s Trattoria, Turning Point, Whitechapel Projects, The Wine Loft. COVID19 Business Survey:  The City of Long Branch has collaborated with the Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce to develop and distribute a survey that was sent to the businesses in Long Branch about their time dealing with COVID-19. 32 people responded to the survey.  You can see the results of the full survey on our website www.longbranchchamber.org.

 

Zoom Breakfast Club Meeting:  The Chamber had its first Zoom Breakfast Club Meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 8 am. The speaker is Mayor John Pallone.  Our next Zoom Breakfast Club is on Wednesday, July 1, 8am.  Our speaker is Brad Madreperl, Family Counselor.  He will be talking about the stress families have when dealing with COBID-19.  You need to register with the chamber office to receive the zoom information to log-in.  Please call 732-222-0400 or email [email protected].   

Guidelines for opening your business: As you are returning to work and re-opening your business you may have questions about the guidelines you have to follow for re-opening to keep your employees and your guests/clients safe. New Jersey Business and Industry Association and the State of New Jersey have put together a variety of guidelines.  Go to the Chamber website at www.longbranchchamber.org and see the article on Guidelines and the list of websites to review.

The 86th Annual Business Awards Dinner: The Awards Dinner was scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020 has been rescheduled for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2020. Please notify the Chamber office if you can attend our new date. Please call 732-222-0400 or email [email protected]

Long Branch Discover Guide Booklets: Just a reminder we are asking if anyone has copies of the last printed Long Branch Discover Guide Booklet to please notify and / or return them to the chamber office.  We can also stop by and pick them up just call the office and let us know.  We will be working on a new Long Branch Guild Booklet in January 2021.
