CHAMBER UPDATE February 26, 2021
Breakfast Club Meeting: Our next Breakfast Club Meeting is on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. It will be a Zoom meeting. The speaker is Kim Guadagno, CEO and President of Fulfill. Please RSVP: call 732-222-0400 or email [email protected]
Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce Magnet Sales: We are starting to sell Chamber Magnets as a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber will be sending out letters and order forms to the members to solicit sponsors and sales. We hope these magnets will show your support for the businesses in the Long Branch area and the Chamber. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to Long Branch Signs: The Chamber of Commerce with the City of Long Branch is working on new “Welcome to Long Branch” signs at the entry points driving into the city. If this goes well, we will also have “Thank You For Visiting Long Branch” signs as you drive out of the city limits. We will be looking for sponsors to advertise on the signs. More info to follow. We are just starting this project.
The Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce 86th Annual Awards Dinner: The March date did not look like it was going to happen, so we moved the dinner to Wednesday, October 6, 2021, (6:30 Cocktails, 7:30pm Dinner) at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa. Please contact the Chamber Office to confirm your reservation: 732-222-0400 or [email protected].
Office Space Available: The City of Long Branch Office of Community and Economic Development under Director Jacob, Jones, will be moving out of the Chamber’s second floor office in the next few months. The Chamber is looking to rent the office space. If you need office space or know someone who is interested in leasing office space, please call Todd Katz, RE/MAX Synergy, at 732-768-3329. He has all the details about the space the Chamber is renting.
Activities for Chamber / Fundraiser: The Chamber is looking for ideas for activities and fundraisers we can host during the COVID-19 that are safe and fun. If you have any ideas, please contact the Chamber Office at 732-222-0400. We are planning on 2 activities in the fall: Miniature Golf and a visit to the Puzzle Room in Long Branch (Thank you, Gabriel, for the idea). If restrictions are lifted, we are planning on gathering members who are interested in these activities.
